The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has honoured GOIL for supporting its preparatory and capacity-building workshop towards receiving the first batch of Free SHS students into public universities.
At a meeting with the Group CEO and Managing Director of GOIL, Kwame Osei-Prempeh, UTAG, led by its President, Professor Charles Marfo, described GOIL’s gesture as exemplary.
He particularly recognised GOIL’s generation to generate “vibrant national discussion among relevant stakeholders’”
According to the UTAG President, the gesture will contribute to the provision of quality education.
The Group CEO and Managing Director of GOIL, Kwame Osei-Prempeh, said the company’s topmost priority is giving back to society and taking up causes that will advance the national interest.
He urged Ghanaians to continue to buy from GOIL so that many of such laudable programmes can be supported.
UTAG later presented a plaque to GOIL’S MD & GROUP CEO
Other UTAG executive members present were the Vice President, Dr Otchere Addae-Mensah, the secretary, Dr Eric K.K Abevare and the treasurer, Isaac K. Appiah.
