Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs, Cudjoe Fianoo has declared his intention to vie for the GFA Presidency seat.
The GFA seat has become vacant since world Football governing body FIFA banned former President Kwesi Nyantakyi for life from all football-related activities due to a documentary which exposed corruption in the game.
Former GFA Vice Presidents, Fred Pappoe and George Afriyie together with former EXCO (Executive Committee) member Wilfred Osei Palmer, Nana Yaw Amponsah and founder of Kumasi-based King Faisal FC, Alhaji Grunsah, have all expressed interest in replacing former boss Kwesi Nyantakyi as the next GFA president.
Speaking in an interview on Oyerepa FM, the former AshantiGold CEO said he is biding his time and at the appropriate time, the world will know the vision he has for Ghana football.
“Yes I am very interested in the GFA Presidency seat, at the right time I will launch my campaign and let the world know my vision for Ghana Football.”
